Content Creator (Full-time or Part-time)

Job Description

SECTION. is a London-based music platform bringing artists and music lovers together on the dancefloor, and sharing that energy with the world. We're building the defining destination for underground electronic music content with a local and global community that genuinely cares about what we make.

We're not looking for a social media manager. We're looking for someone who is terminally online, culturally embedded, and makes content that actually stops the scroll.

The role

Content creation at SECTION. isn't about hitting a post quota. It's about making things that the electronic music world actually cares about - the moments before a set, the energy in the room, the artists who define a sound. You'll be across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, creating original content that builds SECTION.'s presence without diluting what makes us interesting. And you won't just make the content - you'll run the pages: scheduling, publishing, and keeping the feeds alive day to day.

You're not a manager. You're a creator. Someone with a strong point of view, a sharp eye, and an instinct for what will land. You'll work closely with the team to develop ideas, but you'll be trusted to run with them independently.

What you'll do

  • Create short-form video content across Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Run our social pages day to day: schedule and publish posts, keep the grid and stories consistent, own the posting rhythm
  • Shoot and edit behind-the-scenes content from sessions, events, and studio life
  • Develop original content ideas that feel authentically SECTION. - not trend-chasing
  • Write copy and captions that carry our voice without sounding like a brand
  • Collaborate on the content direction and help define what SECTION. looks like online
  • Stay close to culture - know what's moving in electronic music before it goes mainstream

Who you are

  • Strong visual instincts - you can frame a shot, read a room, and know what makes something worth posting
  • Comfortable with editing tools - CapCut, Premiere, or whatever gets the job done
  • You don't need to be told what to make. You have ideas and you execute on them
  • Based in London, or able to get to Hackney regularly

Nice to have

  • A following or existing presence in the music or culture space
  • Photography skills
  • Experience growing social accounts from early stages
