Berlin & on-site in Ferropolis

Whole Festival is looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Production Manager to join the team for the 2026 edition.

This freelance position is ideal for someone with experience in event or festival production who wants to take responsibility in shaping the guest experience at a large-scale festival.

Scope of Work:
● Coordination with guest service providers (Lockers, Camping, Bassliner)
● Planning & implementation for signage and print production
● Planning and supervision of Info Points, Cashless Help Desk, Merch operations, and Entrances
● Staffing planning, briefing documents, and onsite supervision for all Guest Relations areas
● Optimization of entrance and access control concepts, including capacity planning and structured guest flow management (queuing systems), in coordination with Production and Security
● Infrastructure planning for all Guest Relation points
● Cross-department communication and alignment (Security, Ticketing, Technical Production) regarding all guest-related operations
● Supervision and troubleshooting during setup and showdays
● Post-production evaluation and documentation of workflows, with recommendations for improvements for future editions
● Contributing to overall production operations as part of the production team

What we expect:
● 3-5 years experience in event, festival or live music production is essential; experience in
guest relations or entrance management is a plus
● Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
● Structured working style and ability to manage multiple deadlines
● Strong communication skills and leadership qualities
● Comfortable working with software tools and learning new systems, especially excel or googlesheets
● Proactive problem-solving mindset, stress resilience, and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances
● Fluent in English and German
● driver’s license is a plus
● Based in Berlin and able to work on-site in Ferropolis during the festival period including set up and dismantling
● Availability from beginning of April to mid August 2026, approx. 1,5-2 days per week, increasing in the lead-up to the festival.
