About Save Our Scene

Save Our Scene is a not-for-profit organisation championing grassroots music culture across the UK.

Working nationally from our London base, we collaborate with artists, venues, promoters and partners to protect independent music spaces and deliver campaigns and live activations through SOS and Liveline.

We are a small, ambitious team operating at the intersection of culture, community and live music.

The Role

This is a highly organised, proactive role designed to bring structure, clarity and follow-through to a fast-moving creative environment.

You will support the CEO across diary management, inbox coordination, project tracking and opportunity research, while also helping maintain internal systems and processes.

This is not just a diary role. You will help ensure priorities move forward and nothing slips through the cracks.

Key Responsibilities


CEO Support

  • Manage and triage the CEO’s inbox

  • Draft replies where appropriate

  • Prioritise urgent communications

  • Manage and optimise diary scheduling

  • Ensure meetings are prepared for with agendas and documented then actions listed

  • Take structured notes and track actions

  • Follow up on outstanding items

Task & Workflow Management

  • Maintain Trello boards and internal project trackers

  • Ensure approvals are logged and progressed

  • Monitor deadlines and flag risks

Research & Opportunity Support

  • Research event, partnership and collaboration opportunities

  • Support proposal and deck preparation

  • Identify relevant venues, artists, promoters, partners and strategic leads

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Support internal systems and documentation

  • Maintain organised digital folders

  • Support in managing event listings on ticketing platforms

  • Support with website events, news and campaign pages

  • Booking travel, accommodation and logistics on behalf of the team

  • Assist with event logistics and scheduling where required

  • Act as a communication bridge between CEO and wider team

Website & Digital Infrastructure

  • Update website events, news and campaign pages

  • Support campaign tracking and data capture

  • Support deck creation 

CRM & Email

  • Support list growth and segmentation

  • Build and send email campaigns

  • Maintain data hygiene and GDPR compliance

  • Provide basic reporting on performance

Content, Design & Asset Creation

  • Support in creating digital assets for social, email and web

  • Maintain brand consistency

  • Brief freelance designers when required

  • Support merchandise content and asset preparation

What We’re Looking For

  • Someone who is passionate about grassroots music culture

  • 2–3 years experience in an account management, assistant, coordinator or operations role

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

  • Confident written communicator

  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities

  • Proactive and solutions-focused

  • Calm under pressure

  • Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace

  • Experience using Trello or similar tools

Desirable:

  • Experience within music, events or cultural organisations

  • Basic project management understanding

  • Interest in grassroots music culture

Salary & Benefits

  • Competitive, depending on experience

  • Full time PAYE

  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

  • 6 month probation period

  • London based
