Online Shop (D2C) Associate & Junior Label Assistant

Lex Records is an independent label based in North London. We’re a small team, and we’re looking for a Shop & Label Assistant to join us 3 - 4 days a week. 

This is a junior role with a strong focus on our direct-to-consumer shop and online sales, ideal for someone with experience in retail, e-commerce or fulfillment who’s keen to help grow and improve this side of the business, while also supporting the wider label.

Online Shop (D2C) Associate:

• Day-to-day running of the Lex Records online shop (Shopify / Bandcamp)

• Product setup for records, merch and bundles, including metadata and assets

• Customer order processing, packing and shipping

• Handling customer service and email enquiries via shop@

• Managing stock intake, regular stock checks and inventory updates

Assistant Role - Label Administration

• Assisting track activity around releases and campaigns

• Basic sales reporting

• Keeping website and digital information up to date

• Helping with general label administration as needed

The ideal candidate:

• Ideal but not essential - has some experience in retail, e-commerce, fulfilment or shop operations
• Is organised, hands-on and detail-focused
• Has a genuine interest in music and independent labels
• Comfortable with Google Suite (e-commerce platforms or Adobe CS a bonus)
• E-commerce experience is preferred, but not essential
• Identifies key areas of development across their accountabilites & strives to implement practical and productive changes where necessary.
