Are you data-driven, digitally savvy, and passionate about music and digital advertising? Universal Music Australia is seeking a motivated Performance Media Coordinator to join our Performance Media team, supporting digital advertising campaigns that connect our artists with audiences across some of the world’s biggest platforms.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to build your career in performance media, working across paid social, search and programmatic campaigns while developing your skills in campaign optimisation, analytics and digital strategy. You’ll work closely with teams across the business to help deliver campaigns that drive measurable results for our artists.

 

About the role: 

  • Support the delivery of digital advertising campaigns across platforms including Meta ads, TikTok ads, Snapchat ads, Google Ads, DV360 etc.
  • Set up, monitor and optimise biddable media campaigns to help achieve campaign objectives and maximise performance
  • Track campaign performance, identify trends and provide actionable insights and recommendations
  • Prepare weekly and end-of-campaign reporting, helping translate data into meaningful learnings
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure creative assets align with campaign objectives, platform specifications and deadlines
  • Coordinate campaign assets, trackers, timelines and status updates to keep activity running smoothly
  • Support media spend reconciliation and the preparation of post-campaign summaries
  • Stay across emerging platforms, media technologies and industry trends to identify new opportunities and best practices
  • Collaborate with the broader Commercial Plus team on cross-functional projects and priorities

 

About you:

You are analytical, highly organised and have exceptional attention to detail. You’re curious about the ever-changing world of digital media and enjoy getting into the detail of campaign performance, understanding what’s working and finding ways to make it work even harder.

You’re proactive, adaptable and comfortable working across multiple campaigns and deadlines. Most importantly, you’re excited to keep learning and have a genuine passion for music, artists and the role digital media can play in connecting them with audiences.

 

You will bring:

  • 1+ years’ experience in digital advertising, particularly across paid social
  • A sound understanding of digital marketing principles and the current media landscape
  • Familiarity with advertising platforms such as Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Ads, Snapchat ads, programmatic advertising.
  • An ability to analyse campaign data, identify key insights and turn performance results into clear recommendations
  • Strong organisational, project management and time management skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience with analytics, reporting and e-commerce tools such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Shopify.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for music and an eagerness to build your expertise in performance media and digital strategy
