The Role and What You'll Do:

The Harry Walker Agency is seeking a Coordinator to join our Speaker Representation team. This person will liaise with our speakers and their staffs to organize and coordinate speaking invitations. This person must be a self-starter, detail oriented, organized, professional, and be able to work in a team environment. As part of this Speaker Management team, the candidate will work directly with the President of the Agency and work cross-functionally with all other departments throughout the Agency.


  • Develop and maintain relationships with Speakers and their offices
  • Work cross-functionally and liaise with all departments within the Agency to ensure timely response to Speaker and Hosting organizations
  • Maintain and update the company’s internal CRM database for each Speakers’ office
  • Oversee projects for multiple Speakers simultaneously, while effectively managing timelines and communicating expectations, and tracking all projects/communications in CRM
  • Arrange and organize complicated tours and pending calendars/speaking invitations for Speakers
  • Onboarding new speakers and working with their offices to  assemble marketing materials, keeping up to date press release records, and overseeing speech content and speaker’s dedicated page on our website.
  • Vet and research potential speakers and hosting organizations as needed

You Have These:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years work experience (background in politics, talent management/event planning, and/or sales not necessary, but a plus)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook (experience with CRM databases and LexisNexis not required, but a plus)
  • Superb organizational skills with great attention to detail and a self-starter
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and triage a high volume of work
  • Capability to negotiate and find creative solutions aka “Live in the Solution”
  • Creative thinking, teamwork, and a positive, can-do attitude under pressure a must

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

Hiring Rate Minimum:

$67,500 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum salary thresholds)

Hiring Rate Maximum:

$90,000 annually
