Noatune Studios is looking for a smart, highly organised and commercially minded person with genuine professional recording studio experience to take responsibility for bookings, client experience and the day-to-day operation of our Hackney studios.

You need to understand professional studios, communicate exceptionally well, work quickly, enjoy organising complicated moving parts and be ready to take on real responsibility.

Interviews will begin shortly, so early applications are encouraged. We are ideally looking for someone who can start in early to mid-October 2026, although there may be some flexibility for the right candidate.

Please read before applying

We receive a very high volume of applications, so please only apply if you have the following skills and experience:

  • Professional recording studio experience
  • Strong understanding of recording, tracking, editing, mixing and mastering workflows
  • Several years of professional experience in an administrative, bookings, sales, operations or client-facing role
  • Experience in a role where you were personally responsible for deadlines, clients, workload and day-to-day delivery
  • Experience managing or supervising other people
  • Comfortable delegating work, giving clear instructions and maintaining standards
  • Genuine interest in administration, bookings and organisation
  • Comfortable handling a high volume of emails, calls, enquiries and competing priorities
  • Excellent written English and confident client communication
  • Currently living in London with a reliable commute to Hackney
  • Happy working 100% on-site
  • Comfortable with occasional evening/weekend flexibility

This is primarily a bookings and operations role, not an engineering position.

About Noatune

Noatune is an independent recording and writing studio based in Netil House, Hackney, next to London Fields and Broadway Market.

We operate multiple high-end studios for recording, writing, production, mixing and commercial voiceover/post-production.

Our studios have hosted sessions with artists including RAYE, Tom Odell, Paloma Faith, Jessie Ware, Pet Shop Boys, The Blessed Madonna, Denzel Curry and Kojey Radical, alongside many emerging artists, producers and songwriters.

Commercial clients have included IKEA, KFC, Apple, Uber and Zara Home.

The role

You will take primary responsibility for Noatune’s enquiries and bookings.

This includes:

  • Responding to enquiries by email, phone and WhatsApp
  • Understanding what clients need and asking the right questions
  • Preparing quotes and following up enquiries
  • Converting enquiries into paid bookings
  • Advising clients on studio, engineer and session requirements
  • Identifying appropriate opportunities for additional hours, engineering and mixing
  • Organising the studio calendar efficiently
  • Handling cancellations and schedule changes
  • Coordinating engineers and runners
  • Ensuring upcoming sessions are properly prepared
  • Managing invoices, payment follow-up and CRM records
  • Managing runners and maintaining studio standards
  • Supporting selected writing camps and larger commercial/voiceover projects

You will work closely with, coordinate and manage a part-time Booking Assistant, runners and freelance engineers.

Who we’re looking for

The right person will combine a strong understanding of the professional studio environment with proven ability in organisation, administration and client service.

You may come from a recording, engineering or production background and have developed strong administrative, operational and client-management skills through other roles. Or you may come from a label, agency, production company or other music-industry environment while also having substantial professional studio experience.

You should have a genuine interest in organisation, high standards and delivering an excellent client experience. The role requires someone who is comfortable managing multiple priorities at once, keeping track of a high volume of enquiries and bookings, coordinating people and schedules, and ensuring important details are not missed.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in the quality of their work, communicates professionally, stays composed under pressure and enjoys bringing structure to a busy environment.

You should also be able to understand a recording or mixing enquiry, recognise what information is missing, know what questions need to be asked before quoting it, and have enough technical judgement to understand which engineers are appropriate for different sessions.

This can be a busy and sometimes intense role. Some people find that draining; others genuinely thrive on the pace and responsibility.

We are looking for the latter.

Working hours

Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, primarily Monday–Friday.

This is a 100% on-site position with no regular work-from-home days.

Recording studios do not operate strictly within office hours, so writing camps, important sessions and occasional operational issues can require some evening or weekend flexibility. During particularly busy periods, working weeks may occasionally reach up to approximately 48 hours.

Salary & benefits

£30,000 base salary + monthly performance bonuses, with realistic total earnings of £35,000–£40,000+ and further annual bonus potential.

Benefits include:

  • Free studio time outside working hours when available
  • Free rooftop sauna and cold plunge access
  • Work with a talented and welcoming team of engineers, producers and runners
  • Regular exposure to exciting emerging artists and established international clients
  • Opportunity to manage larger projects and work with major-label artists and commercial clients
  • Significant autonomy and responsibility
  • Opportunity to contribute ideas around systems, technology, client experience and growth
  • Creative working environment at Netil House
  • 20% discount at selected local food stalls and restaurants
  • Comfortable modern office space with coffee and tea

  • Your professional studio / recording experience
