Production Manager - Advancing & Logistics

Job Description

We're looking for a Production Manager to join our team in Berlin, responsible for the day-to-day pre-production and advancing of live shows across the Otherworldly roster. 

This is a hands-on operational role requiring prior experience in live music advancing, tour management, or booking operations. 

Responsibilities 

  • Advance confirmed shows end-to-end, from deal confirmation through to show completion
  • Communicate directly with promoters and venues to confirm schedules, production, and technical requirements
  • Identify and resolve technical, contractual, or logistical issues, escalating where necessary
  • Book and manage artist travel and accommodation with a grounded understanding of touring realities and artist wellbeing
  • Work closely with department heads to ensure clear communication and smooth handover
  • Be on top of all internal calendars, advancing documents, and show files, keeping them accurate and up to date

Requirements 

  • Proven experience in live music pre-production, advancing, tour management, booking operations, or similar applicable role
  • Highly organised with formidable attention to detail
  • Practical experience booking artist travel and managing touring logistics
  • Knowledge of deal structures and show contracts, ability to flag and escalate if inconsistencies arise
  • Fluent in Google Workspace and comfortable working with and building upon existing operational systems
  • A working knowledge of:
    - Technical riders, stage plots, input lists, and production requirements
    - How promoters, venues, and production teams operate
  • Based in Berlin 

This role will initially be on a Freelance, part-time basis - working 2 days per week in person at our office in Berlin.
