Marketing Manager

Position: Marketing Manager

Location: Holzmarkt, Berlin

Terms: 26 hours per week, mostly in-person in our office / occasional remote work possible

Start Date: 15.07.26 (flexible)

Role:

You may have noticed there have been some changes at Kater in recent years. We are looking for an experienced marketing expert to join our team and support the next stages of evolution at the club. We are building on our rich history with new beginnings and your role will involve coordinating how we can best get the word out about these fresh developments.

Responsibilities:

• Work in coordination with the booking office to position the club within Berlin's electronic music scene

• Manage promotional strategies and campaigns for club nights and special events

• Develop brand-consistent visual campaigns across multiple platforms and coordinate with graphic designers

• Manage the club’s performance marketing

• Foster community engagement online and offline

• Manage marketing budgets and personnel decisions regarding freelance creatives

Requirements:

• Experience in marketing or connected fields within the electronic music industry

• Specialist knowledge of how to promote events in nightclubs

• Strong understanding of the latest trends in social media and digital advertising

• Basic visual creative skills e.g. graphic design, illustration, animation

• Ability to manage stakeholders across different roles/departments

• Already living in Berlin and well-connected within the club scene

• Fluent in English; strong or fluent German skills a big plus
