Agent Associate

Job Description

Who We Are: 

International exclusive speakers' agency is seeking an Agent Associate. The candidate should have at least 1 year office experience.  Experience in sales, business development, and/or event planning that included client contact and written communications is a plus, but not essential.  Candidate must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and must be able to handle a high-volume work including contract negotiation and database work.  

 

Work closely with Agents to support business operational needs, including but not limited to: 

  • Serve as a key liaison between internal departments and with buyers to communicate ongoing contract discussions and negotiations (including making and conveying contract revisions), accounting timelines, and Speaker/Buyer requests and availability.  Independently manage discussions to allow maximum efficiency and to drive business needs. 
  • Support new client proposals, including speaker research, and reaching out to existing and prospective buyers with sales calls, utilizing in-depth knowledge of the company’s roster of speakers and fee arrangements.   
  • Taking ownership of high-volume CRM database management and utilizing multitasking skills in a high-paced environment to ensure that all opportunities, contracts, contacts, and billing information are updated and coordinated.  Prepare reports and analysis as needed.    

 

You Have These:  

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of office experience (can be internship) 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.  Candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. 
  • Ability to find creative solutions 
  • Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials in a timely manner 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Interested reading knowledge of Current Affairs and Business Trends 
  • Creative thinking and a positive, can-do attitude

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

Hiring Rate Minimum:

$54,000 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum salary thresholds)

Hiring Rate Maximum:

$72,000 annually
