How We LEAD:

Capitol Records is looking for a Viral Content Coordinator who lives at the pulse of music, culture, and the internet. This role is all about spotting the spark before it becomes a wildfire and turning artist moments into cultural moments.

You’ll work closely with artists, marketing teams, and creatives to craft content that travels fast, feels authentic, and resonates with fans. From TikTok trends to release rollouts, you’ll help shape how our artists show up in the world, one scroll-stopping post at a time.

How you'll CREATE:

  • Support administrative operations for the team, including coordinating projects, maintaining records, and assisting with day-to-day team needs.
  • Process invoices, track campaign activity and budgets, and maintain accurate reporting and documentation across team initiatives.
  • Track emerging trends across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms, with a sharp focus on music-driven moments
  • Identify opportunities to amplify Capitol Records artists through viral formats, sounds, and conversations
  • Concept and execute short-form content ideas that align with artist identity and campaign strategy
  • Collaborate with digital marketing, A&R, creative, and artist teams to capture and produce content in real time
  • Write compelling captions, hooks, and scripts that drive engagement and sharing
  • Support content creation during key moments including releases, live events, and cultural spikes
  • Analyze performance data (engagement, shares, watch time) to inform future content decisions
  • Maintain agility in a fast-moving environment where timing is everything
  • Support processing and tracking of third-party and vendor invoices.

Bring your VIBE:

  • 1–3 years of experience in social media, digital content, or music/entertainment marketing
  • Strong understanding of TikTok and short-form video ecosystems, especially how music trends evolve
  • Passion for music and familiarity with current artists, genres, and fan communities
  • Proven ability to ideate and execute content quickly without losing quality or brand alignment
  • Excellent writing skills with an ear for tone, voice, and cultural relevance
  • Experience with video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, etc.) preferred
  • Ability to balance reactive content with planned campaigns

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • You’ve helped break a song, trend, or moment on social
  • You instinctively understand what makes fans engage, remix, and share
  • You’re fluent in fan culture, stan communities, and creator ecosystems
  • You can translate an artist’s identity into content that feels native to each platform
  • You move fast, think visually, and stay curious

Success in This Role Looks Like:

  • Driving viral moments that amplify artist visibility and streaming growth
  • Creating content that fans engage with, recreate, and spread organically
  • Helping position Capitol Records artists at the center of cultural conversation
  • Contributing to measurable growth across social platforms and fan engagement
