Job Description

Founded in 2001, Resident Advisor (RA) is one of the world's longest-running music media brands and a cornerstone of the dance, electronic and DJ ecosystem. The site's audience of over 7 million monthly users is drawn in by a combination of news, editorial, club listings and ticketing, RA-branded events at venues and festivals worldwide, original films and a weekly mix series that has run for 20 years.

 

Purpose of the role:

RA is seeking a proactive Social Producer to lead our social channels and drive the next phase of our social-first content strategy. Combining channel management, end-to-end content production and creative storytelling, this role is a key opportunity to shape how RA communicates with a global audience — developing new formats, launching standout campaigns, and guiding a network of creators to deliver best-in-class work. The ideal candidate is trend-aware, creatively fearless, and excited to use data and platform insight to build engagement and audience growth while staying true to RA’s tone and visual identity.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the management of RA's social output across all channels.
  • Manage the scheduling of Instagram, TikTok Facebook, and Twitter
  • Manage the general briefing of assets to the design team on social media.
  • Develop new social-first ideas and content series that cement RA’s position as the most influential platform in electronic music .
  • Coordinate shoots, productions and campaigns with RA’s global content creators and freelance team
  • Build RA's social media strategy across all aspects of the business.
  • Collaborate with our editorial department to showcase key content on social media in innovative ways that increase engagement and audience.
  • Collaborate closely with our brand partnerships department to devise innovative multi-channel social media strategies for client campaigns.
  • Analyse data to make recommendations and maintain a successful social approach.

 

We’re looking for:

  • A 360° social media producer who can shoot, edit, produce, present, write and publish.
  • An understanding of RA’s role within electronic music, its tone of voice and visual aesthetic.
  • 3+ years experience of content creation and social media management.
  • Excellent writing skills and an eye for good design and photography.
  • A thorough understanding of online advertising and digital marketing.
  • A passion for social media, with experience developing and implementing ideas across channels.
  • Experience using and interpreting analytics to measure the effectiveness of new initiatives.
  • A history of implementing successful engagement and growth strategies.
  • The ability to monitor and anticipate patterns and trends in social media.

This role is a permanent position based in London at our Head Office. Please note: This position requires applicants to be based in London and to work from the office three days per week.
