Role Overview

The Manager, Digital Accounts will play a key role in driving digital revenue growth and strengthening partnerships across major digital platforms. This role combines data-driven strategy, campaign execution, and partner management to maximize the performance of UMG’s digital catalog and frontline releases.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive digital revenue growth by developing and executing platform-specific strategies across key partners (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Meta, TikTok, etc.)
    • Manage day-to-day relationships with digital partners to optimize visibility, playlisting, and promotional support
    • Lead integration of digital strategy into label and marketing campaign planning and execution to maximize commercial impact
    • Develop and deliver compelling pitches to digital partners, aligning content priorities with platform opportunities
    • Analyze digital sales performance, campaign results, and platform trends to generate actionable insights and recommendations
  • Identify and pursue new digital monetization opportunities across emerging platforms and channels
  • Monitor industry trends, platform developments, and consumer behavior to inform business strategies
  • Track and surface viral or emerging content trends, translating insights into timely commercial actions
  • Oversee playlisting initiatives and digital community engagement to support artist and catalog growth
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on performance, insights, and opportunities for internal stakeholders

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong account management and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Knowledgeable in data analysis and insights presentation
  • Experience working with digital platform analytics (Spotify, YouTube, Meta, TikTok, etc.)
  • Experience in managing social listening tools and deriving consumer insights
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable building reports and presentations for stakeholders
  • With marketing and business analysis background preferred
  • Proactive attitude and strong work ethic required
  • Strong interest in music and digital media trends

Education / Experience Required

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-4 years of experience of experience in digital, media, sales, or account management roles
