Downtown Music Publishing is looking for a Global Client Services Coordinator to join the team and support our growing base of music publishing clients!
This hybrid position is based in our Nashville location.
What you'll do:
- Serve as a first point of contact for specific copyright, royalties, and data-based client inquiries
- Complete high-level rights management research projects
- Provide base-level analysis of royalty inquiries and escalate when necessary
- Act as an internal advocate for Downtown clients
- Interact across departments at Downtown Music Publishing
- Maintain department data resources such as Curve, Airtable, and Google Drive
- Assist with onboarding and maintenance procedures for new and existing clients
- Handle client correspondence in a professional and timely manner
You are / have:
- 1-2 years of experience in a client-facing or administrative role
- General knowledge or coursework in music business (publishing knowledge is a plus)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently to meet deadlines
- Very strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- Attention to detail, self motivator with an inquisitive mindset
- Must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make judgment calls
- General Microsoft Suite / Google Suite / computer proficiency
- Familiarity with computer programs (Salesforce, Airtable), including royalty systems such as Curve and Music Maestro (preferred)
- Prior work experience in the music industry (preferred)

Downtown provides base salary ranges for all positions located in the United States at the time of posting. The hiring range for this position is $42,000 - $45,000 annually. As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon various factors including, but not limited to, work experience, geographic location and relevant skills. Downtown is committed to providing a comprehensive market-competitive total rewards program for its employees which includes medical, dental, and vision, life insurance, 401(k) match and generous paid time off. This range does not include any other variable compensation components.
