Save Our Scene CIC is a not for profit organisation working to protect and champion grassroots music culture across the UK.
Based in London and operating nationally, we work with artists, venues, promoters and brand partners to support the grassroots music ecosystem. Through campaigns, events and industry partnerships, SOS help drive awareness, funding and meaningful support to the grassroots.
We are a small, ambitious team operating at the intersection of culture, community and live music.
We’re looking for a Creative / Content Manager to shape and drive the visual and editorial direction of our content across digital platforms for SOS and the Liveline Fund.
This is a hands-on creative role for someone who lives and breathes culture, music and live experiences. You’ll lead the creation of daily content, filming, editing and publishing, while setting the creative tone for how we show up across social, web and campaigns.
You won’t just manage content, you’ll create it. From reactive moments to planned launches, you’ll turn ideas into compelling, culturally relevant storytelling.
Based in the office 4 days a week, this is a hybrid delivery role spanning:
Content planning, shooting, publishing and engagement
Campaign and event content delivery
Light design / asset creation
Coordination with freelancers and contributors
You will work closely with the CEO, Brand & Marketing Manager and external teams to turn strategy into execution, while also taking responsibility for planning and delivering high quality content shoots.
Lead the creative direction of our digital content across all platforms
Film and edit daily content (short-form video, reels, behind-the-scenes, artist moments, event coverage)
Develop engaging concepts that reflect our brand, audience and cultural positioning
Oversee visual consistency and storytelling across all channels
Identify trends and cultural moments and respond quickly with relevant content
Own and manage the content calendar across platforms
Plan content around events, announcements, campaigns and partnerships
Schedule and publish posts across social channels
Ensure consistent output while balancing reactive and planned content
Design and create supporting assets for news posts, announcements and campaigns
Work with copy and design to ensure content is visually cohesive and on-brand
Support campaign launches with creative rollout plans
Manage freelance creatives including videographers, photographers, editors and designers
Brief and oversee external suppliers when needed
Maintain production standards and delivery timelines
Build a reliable creative network to scale content when required
Strong experience within music, festivals or cultural organisations
Excellent video filming and editing skills (short-form native content is essential)
A strong eye for visual storytelling and cultural relevance
Experience managing freelance creatives and external suppliers
Highly organised and comfortable owning a content calendar
Able to move quickly and confidently in live environments
Proactive, ideas-driven and creatively ambitious
Our content feels culturally sharp, visually consistent and creatively distinctive
We maintain strong daily output without sacrificing quality
Campaigns are supported by thoughtful, engaging creative
Freelance creatives are well-briefed and produce high-quality work
Our brand presence feels alive and embedded in the scene

Full time PAYE
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
6 month probation period with 2 month review period
London based with regular event attendance and major artist collaborations
