Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We aim to open a club focused on underground music in Mexico City, built around a state of the art soundsystem, a safe-space ethos, and a Berlin techno club aesthetic. We aim to combine excellent residents with top international talent to provide an experience that will be totally unique in the city. We are looking for a project manager to oversee and facilitate the project from day 1, helping us to achieve our vision of bringing a unique brand and style of electronic music to Mexico City.

WHO YOU ARE:

-Fluent in Spanish and English advantageous

-Experience in management of electronic music establishments essential.  Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Candidate must be able to delegate tasks and manage a large team efficiently.

-Deep knowledge of the music industry, and of underground techno music culture.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with artists, bookers and other key partners.

-Candidate must possess excellent problem solving and logistics skills.

-10% of all profits from the club will go directly to charities aiding the Palestinian people in the ongoing genocide. This is a core cause we care about deeply, and you should too.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

-Help the project’s founders create a team to put together and operate an electronic music club that will operate on a weekly basis.

-Act as primary point of contact for the organisation.

-Work as a general manager upon the club’s completion, liaising with different departments, promoters, artists etc to ensure smooth operation on a day-to-day basis.
