Job Summary 

The Endpoint Engineer will drive strategic initiatives that enhance endpoint infrastructure across all Universal Music Group (UMG) territories. This role focuses on leading cross-functional projects that improve system performance, security, and user experience. The engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing endpoint solutions, managing deployments, and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards. A key aspect of the role includes developing scalable solutions, contributing to enterprise architecture, and mentoring Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams through structured training programs and documentation as well as providing an escalation point for local territories and leads. 

 

Job Functions 

Key Responsibilities 

 

  • Lead and manage endpoint engineering projects from initiation through delivery, including planning, execution, and post-implementation review. 

  • Collaborate with global IT teams to define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables for endpoint infrastructure upgrades and deployments. 

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials to support project rollouts and knowledge transfer. 

  • Oversee the deployment and lifecycle management of Windows 11, Office 365, Adobe, and macOS environments. 

  • Design and implement policies using JAMF, Intune, and SCCM/MECM to support enterprise-wide configuration and compliance. 

  • Analyse telemetry data and system performance to inform project decisions and continuous improvement efforts. 

  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party suppliers to ensure timely delivery of project components and services. 

  • Manage critical incident response as part of project risk mitigation, including communication and resolution strategies. 

  • Contribute to enterprise knowledge management systems by documenting project learnings and technical solutions. 

 

Job Requirements 

 

Essential 

 

  • 5+ years of experience leading or contributing to endpoint engineering projects in enterprise environments. 

  • Proven ability to manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables. 

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical audiences. 

  • Experience with SCCM/MECM, JAMF, Intune, Azure AD (Entra ID), and Windows Autopilot in project contexts. 

  • Demonstrated success in deploying and supporting enterprise-grade endpoint solutions. 

  • Experience in training and mentoring technical teams as part of project enablement. 

 

Desirable 

 

  • Formal training or certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, Agile). 

  • Experience supporting executive-level stakeholders during strategic rollouts. 

  • Familiarity with benchmarking tools for performance evaluation. 

  • Certifications in Microsoft, Apple, JAMF, and SCCM technologies. 

  • Experience in media or entertainment industry projects.
