Responsibilities

Your Mission:

KIDZ BOP is looking for a creative, highly organized Video Editor & Production Coordinator to support video content across social media, music, marketing, live events and brand partnerships.

 

The ideal candidate is a strong editor who stays current on TikTok, Reels and YouTube trends, brings creative ideas to the table and is comfortable supporting video production from pre-production through post.

 

What You'll Be Doing:

Video Editing & Creative

• Edit video for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube, live tour, music releases and marketing.
• Create engaging edits using captions, graphics, pop-ups, sound effects, transitions and music-driven pacing.
• Stay current on social video trends and help develop fun content ideas that connect with kids and parents.
• Take creative feedback well and make revisions quickly.
• Explore new editing tools and AI video platforms such as Runway.

Video Production

• Help coordinate approximately 15 KIDZ BOP video shoots per year, including scheduling, call sheets, equipment and freelance crews.
• Work with outside production companies and freelancers.
• Support shoots on set as needed, including occasional travel, evenings and weekend shoots.
• Comfortable with all aspects of smaller scale production including camera, lighting, and sound.
• Help build and maintain a network of freelance editors, shooters, motion designers and production crew.

Asset & Project Management

• Manage in-house edit priorities and video requests.
• Maintain organized production servers and the KIDZ BOP Video Archive.
• Manage video delivery to outside partners and platforms.

Budget & Department Support

• Assist with production budgets and tracking.
• Organize invoices and department expenses.
• Support additional video and production needs as required.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

• Strong video editing skills with experience in Adobe Premiere.
• Working knowledge of After Effects and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and current editing trends.
• Strong sense of pacing, music, humor and visual storytelling.
• Creative thinker who can pitch ideas as well as execute them.
• Highly collaborative, open to feedback and comfortable working through multiple rounds of edits.
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects at once.
• Experience with AI video or editing tools is a plus.
• Experience working with children or family content is a plus.
• Existing network of freelance video and production talent is a plus.
• Ability to travel and work occasional evenings and weekends based on production schedules.

 

Salary: $55,000/year

 

*This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.
