Working closely with our Head of Fundraising and Co-Directors, the Head of Community and Comms will be responsible for strengthening the connection between our community of donors, our network of industry supporters and the impact of our fundraising.
Predominantly working across communications and events, you will create meaningful opportunities for people to engage with EarthPercent, deepen relationships over time and inspire our audiences to take action for climate and nature, helping achieve long-term giving and advocacy.
It’s a role that combines leadership with hands-on delivery, as we are a small but growing team, and will play a key part in growing EarthPercent's reach, influence and impact across the music industry.
Lead the growth and engagement of EarthPercent's community of artists, music industry professionals, supporters and partners.
Work closely with the fundraising team to create meaningful in person and digital experiences, communications and pathways that deepen community engagement and encourage long-term support.
Bring artists and music professionals together through programmes (like our pilot Artists4Earth programme), campaigns, learning opportunities and community spaces that build motivation to take action.
Develop strong relationships with artists, managers, industry organisations and aligned partners, helping EarthPercent become a valued part of the industry
Help track community engagement and impact, using insights to strengthen participation and inform organisational strategy.
Develop and lead EarthPercent's comms and marketing strategy, ensuring a clear, consistent and engaging voice across all channels.
Shape how EarthPercent tells its story and communicates our mission to prospective and existing donors - turning complex strategy or issues into inspiring content.
Keep supporters informed and connected through thoughtful communications that demonstrate impact and encourage ongoing involvement.
Lead major communications based projects, including EarthPercent's annual Impact Report, working closely with colleagues across the organisation.
Use data and audience insights to continually improve performance.
Liaise with external communications support, agencies and freelancers where needed
Lead the development and delivery of events and cultural moments that widen or deepen EarthPercent's community and public profile.
Manage freelance contractors who will support coordination of events
Work with fundraising colleagues to produce experiences (small events, dinners, gatherings) that support donor stewardship and relationship-building.
Speak at conferences, industry events, panels and public discussions, acting as a confident and compelling ambassador for the organisation.
Identify opportunities for EarthPercent to contribute to important conversations across music, climate and culture.
Support senior leadership with presentations, speeches, media opportunities and external communications.
