Freelance Social Media Strategist & Content Creator

An internationally touring electronic music artist and producer, as well as the founder of an established party series, is looking for an experienced Social Media Strategist & Content Creator to lead the growth of their personal social channels.

This is a hands-on creative role for someone who understands storytelling, internet culture and short-form content, and knows how to build an audience beyond the existing fanbase.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the overall social media strategy.
• Create engaging content concepts, hooks and recurring formats.
• Plan and manage content across Instagram, Youtube and TikTok.
• Edit engaging short-form videos.
• Deliver approximately 12 main feed posts per month.
• Deliver approx 10–15 trial reels per month, using a combination of new footage and repurposed content with strong hooks and creative storytelling.
• Manage the content pipeline from idea through to publishing.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a proven track record of growing creator, artist or brand social media accounts. Ideally in the electronic music world or music industry. 
• Can demonstrate measurable results from previous work.
• Is  skilled at editing short-form content (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar).
• Understands what performs on Instagram and TikTok without relying on generic trends.
• Experienced in developing and evolving brand identity.
• Is proactive, organised and full of original ideas.
• Accountability in making sure that deliverables are met and the calendar is followed
• The ideal candidate will have a genuine understanding of electronic music culture and the LGBTQIA+ community, and be excited to help tell stories that resonate with those audiences.

If the ideal candidate is exceptionally strong in strategy and creative direction but doesn't edit, we're happy to source an external editor. In that case, we'd expect you to brief them, coordinate the workflow and ensure all content aligns with the overall creative vision.

This is an ongoing freelance role with flexible working arrangements.
