Talent Coordinator (6-month FTC)

Job Description

Founded in 2001, Resident Advisor (RA) is one of the world's longest-running music media brands and a cornerstone of the dance, electronic and DJ ecosystem. The site's audience of over 7 million monthly users is drawn in by a combination of news, editorial, club listings and ticketing, RA-branded events at venues and festivals worldwide, original films and a weekly mix series that has run for 20 years.

Purpose of the role:

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, people-focused coordinator who is keen to develop a career within HR, Talent and People — at a company genuinely rooted in electronic music culture.

Created as a six-month fixed-term role to support RA's global hiring as our team grows, it sits within People & Culture. Initially, you'll focus predominantly on recruitment coordination — supporting the end-to-end hiring process and ensuring an exceptional, culture-first candidate experience. Over time, you'll gain increasing exposure to talent management, workforce planning and wider employee lifecycle activities, giving you a clear pathway into a broader People role.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, from application through to onboarding, including rejection of unsuccessful candidates.
  • Act as the main point of contact for candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a seamless, positive and compassionate recruitment experience.
  • Manage recruitment activity, interview scheduling and candidate pipelines through our ATS (Rippling Recruiting).
  • Coordinate interviews, assessments, right-to-work checks and recruitment administration across multiple time zones for our global and remote teams.
  • Support onboarding activities and help ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Actively support inclusive hiring, helping build diverse pipelines so people from under-represented backgrounds are considered fairly and without bias.
  • Assist with talent and resourcing initiatives, gaining exposure to wider People activities beyond recruitment.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support across talent, resourcing and People projects as the role evolves.

We’re looking for:

  • Ideally 1 to 2 years experience in recruitment support, administration, coordination, or HR administration.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to handle sensitive conversations with care and empathy.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Confidence using an ATS (experience with Rippling Recruiting is a plus) and a strong general grasp of recruitment workflows.
  • A genuine passion for electronic music and an authentic understanding of the industry and its subcultures.
  • Discretion when handling sensitive candidate and company information.
  • An interest in employee development, workforce planning and the broader employee lifecycle would be advantageous.

What we offer you:

  • Generous annual leave policies aimed at promoting work-life balance.
  • Flexibility in working arrangements, offering hybrid or remote work options based on role requirements and location.
  • Matching pension schemes up to 5%.
  • Comprehensive staff wellbeing initiatives, featuring regular activities and workplace programmes to support mental and physical health. This includes discounted Classpass memberships, and custom-fitted earplugs.
  • Company-led social events, team lunches, and discounts on RA merch.
  • Paid annual volunteering allowance, encouraging contributions to community projects and charities you care about.
  • Regular company-wide Q&A’s with senior leadership, along with ongoing virtual educational training sessions for all staff.
  • A transparent internal company culture committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion (see: https://ra.co/about/diversity).
  • Active involvement in community projects within the electronic music community (see:  https://ra.co/about/community).
