About Mercury Studios

Mercury Studios is a global content studio creating and distributing premium music-led programming, live performances, podcasts, digital content and theatrical releases. The Post Production team plays a critical role in bringing this slate to market by ensuring every project is technically robust, operationally well managed and delivered to the required quality, timeline and budget.

The Role

The Post Production and Delivery Manager is responsible for end-to-end management of the post-production lifecycle across the Mercury Studios slate. As part of a busy department, this role bridges creative production and final global distribution, overseeing workflows, budgets, vendors, master ingest, quality control and final delivery, while ensuring content meets demanding broadcast, theatrical and platform specifications, including Dolby Atmos, 4K and HDR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Post Production with creation and management of post-production budgets, schedules and delivery plans across long-form programming, digital content, Mercury Live, podcasts and theatrical releases.

  • Oversee external post-production vendors, DCP houses and freelance resource, negotiating rates and maintaining strong working relationships.

  • Day to day management of in-house editor schedules, edit suite usage, asset tracking, purchase orders, budget reconciliation and departmental reporting.

  • Practical management and implementation of master ingest and QC processes, including QAR bookings, review of QC reports, troubleshooting fixes and secure ingestion into the Mercury Studios portal for all Mercury Studios assets.

  • Support theatrical deliverables, including DCP creation, technical specifications, partner liaison and the distribution of final DCPs and KDMs.

  • Create and communicate delivery requirements for third-party producers, ensuring compliance with global DSP, broadcast and theatrical standards.

  • Manage the collection and verification of supporting materials such as cue sheets, credit lists and legal documentation, and assemble final deliverable packs.

Skills and Experience Required

Must have

  • Good working knowledge of broadcast, streaming and theatrical delivery specifications, including Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision, 4K and HDR.

  • Strong understanding of post-production workflows across editing, colour grading, audio mixing, mastering and final delivery.

  • Experience managing post-production operations in a high-volume environment, ideally within a major studio, broadcaster or production facility.

  • Ability to interpret technical issues, review QC outputs and translate them into clear, actionable solutions for producers and creative stakeholders.

  • Proficiency with production management, scheduling and asset tracking tools, alongside familiarity with master ingest and delivery portals.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting theatrical release workflows, including DCP creation, SMPTE vs. Interop specifications and KDM coordination.

  • Exposure to film restoration, IMAX or other premium-format delivery requirements.
