Title: Creative & Social Strategy Manager
Location: New York, NY (On-Site, 5 days a week in office)
The Role:
Roc Nation is looking for a Brand Manager of Paper Planes and the Roc Nation creative department to develop a multi-channel social strategy for maximum views, impact, and growth. The multi-talented Brand Manager will lead the charge in shaping, producing, and creating dynamic content that elevates our brand and connects with our audience across digital, physical, and cultural spaces. This role blends strategy, creative, and execution – you’ll act as a content producer, brand-strategist, and occasional on-camera talent while spearheading collaborative partnerships that drive traffic and growth to our channels.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that requires deep cultural fluency, a sharp eye for brand identity, and the ability to take campaigns from concept to execution with authenticity.
Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Ideation
Develop tailored content strategies for each brand and campaign across digital, social, and video for all brand channels
Translate brand and campaign goals into compelling creative ideas that perform across platforms
Stay ahead of trends, audience behavior and platform best practices to inform strategy, using data-informed social strategies beyond aesthetic posting
Create structured launch rollouts and strategically plan content for in-between campaigns
Develop and manage a monthly content calendar aligned with product drops and campaigns
Help build and execute a clear TikTok growth strategy
Creative Development & Production
Direct and guide short-form storytelling content that aligns with our brands narratives
Lead creative development including concepting, scripting, and storyboarding for branded content
Self-shoot and edit as well as collaborate with content production, design, and marketing teams to produce high-impact visual content
Create content specific to each social channel
Lead weekly community engagement efforts (stories, polls, interactive content, etc.)
Brand Partnerships & Collaborations
Identify and lead strategic collaborations with culturally relevant brands, businesses, and individuals for all apparel and merch drops.
Build partnerships that authentically align with brand values and resonate with our audience
Oversee co-branded content development
Performance & Growth
Drive measurable traffic to both online and in-store points of purchase through content and partnership campaigns
Analyze performance metrics to refine content strategy and optimize future campaigns
Work cross-functionally with e-comm, retail, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and maximize visibility
Experience, Skills, Knowledge
Knowledge of Roc Nation, Paper Planes and related brands/businesses
2 - 4 years experience in community/social media management including copywriting and calendar planning. Preferably in entertainment and/or fashion
Experience creating and executing clear TikTok growth strategies
Self-motivated with a proven track record supporting brand initiatives and developing digital/social campaigns that drive consistent growth
Strong writing, scripting, and creative development skills
Comfortable and charismatic on camera / in voiceover roles
Strong organizational skills, experience with managing multiple brands or working in an agency structure preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Digitally native with an inherent knowledge and understanding of digital/social platforms, trends, and content
Proven experience in developing brand partnerships and collaboration
Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
Positive attitude and the ability to take constructive criticism
Collaborative mindset and ability to assume different roles based on directive

The expected compensation for this position is:
$80,000.00 USD - $100,000.00 USD** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
