The Role
The Manager, Accounting (AMRA) is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial results, reporting, and audit readiness for the AMRA business unit. This role plays a critical part in translating complex digital revenue and operational activity into accurate financial reporting.
You will lead the close process, partner closely with operational and finance stakeholders, and help strengthen financial controls and reporting reliability. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a key business unit while mentoring staff and improving accounting processes within a fast-growing global music company.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
Strong understanding of revenue recognition and financial reporting.
Advanced Excel skills.
Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities.
Additional Skills That Could Add Value:
Music industry experience.
NetSuite experience.
Experience managing or mentoring staff.
By Month 1:
You’ll understand AMRA’s financial structure, reporting requirements, and accounting workflows.
By Month 3:
You’ll be confidently managing close processes and supporting audit and reporting activities.
By Month 6:
You’ll be improving accounting workflows, strengthening reporting accuracy, and supporting the continued growth of the AMRA business unit.
