About Number 90

Number 90 is an independent bar, restaurant, event space and music venue based in Hackney Wick. Founded by locals, it operates across daytime food and drink, private hire, and late-night club programming.

Everything we do is rooted in care, atmosphere and attention to detail, from how a space feels, to how a guest is welcomed, to how something is communicated. Our marketing should reflect  that: grounded, culturally aware, and closely connected to what’s really happening on site.

 

The Role

This role suits someone who understands culture-led venues and enjoys working at the intersection of hospitality, music and community; where details matter and timing is everything

We’re looking for an In-house Marketing Coordinator to take responsibility for the day-to-day execution and coordination of marketing activity across Number 90.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys keeping things moving and takes pride in follow-through. You’ll work across content, campaigns and communications, coordinating with internal teams, freelancers and agencies, while also directly delivering key pieces of marketing work yourself.

 

What you’ll be responsible for

Day-to-Day Marketing Delivery

  • Owning the day-to-day delivery of marketing activity across Number 90.

  • Ensuring marketing output is timely, accurate and aligned with what’s actually happening on site

  • Taking responsibility for execution, follow-up and finishing work, not just planning it

  • Adapting priorities as the business changes week to week

Campaign & Activity Coordination

  • Coordinating campaigns and marketing activity across multiple contributors

  • Working with external agencies, designers and video creators

  • Briefing, organising and following up on deliverables so things land on time

  • Flagging gaps, delays or issues early and helping resolve them

In-House & Local Marketing

  • Managing physical and on-site marketing (flyers, posters, QR codes, signage)

  • Ensuring spaces are set up correctly for what’s being promoted

  • Supporting launches, events and key trading periods with the right materials

Content & Asset Management

  • Organising and maintaining marketing assets in shared drives

  • Keeping images, videos and copy easy to find, use and keep up to date

Visibility & Feedback

  • Keeping clear records of what’s live, what’s coming up and what’s in progress

  • Sharing regular updates with the wider team

  • Keeping an eye on what’s working and feeding learnings back into future activity

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in a marketing coordination, or hands-on marketing role

  • Highly organised with strong follow-through

  • Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a busy, real-world environment

  • Confident working with creatives, agencies and operational teams

  • Clear written communication skills

  • A practical mindset; you care about things being done properly, not just planned

You don’t need to be a specialist in paid ads, design or video, but you do need to understand how those pieces, plus others, fit together and how to keep them moving.
