About the Role:

Steel City Dance Discs is seeking a digitally fluent, creatively driven marketer to oversee campaign planning and execution for our artists and releases across the globe. This role works closely with artists and their management to develop and deliver standout global campaigns with local relevance, prioritizing fan growth, cultural impact, and defining moments.

Role criteria / key responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver end-to-end marketing campaigns for singles, EPs and albums

  • Plan and manage release strategies across DSPs and social platforms

  • Drive audience growth, engagement and fan conversion for artists and the label brand

  • Shape creative narratives, messaging and content in collaboration with artists and Directors

  • Oversee paid media activity, campaign budgets and performance optimisation
    Coordinate and manage external PR, digital agencies and freelance partners

  • Work closely with A&R, Label Manager and operations to align marketing with release schedules and priorities

  • Track and report campaign performance, insights and learnings to senior management

About you / qualifications

 

  • Minimum 3+ years’ professional experience in music marketing, label services, artist management or a digital-first entertainment environment

  • Strong knowledge of social media and digital promotion strategies across artist and label campaigns

  • A true digital native – actively engaged with social platforms and wider cultural trends (not limited to music alone)

  • Work closely with global teams on fan journey strategy, lead capture, and automated engagement using platforms such as CoBrand and Mailchimp

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to brief, launch, and manage paid media campaigns across platforms including TikTok, Meta, YouTube, and programmatic channels

  • Strong understanding of the recorded music market and current release marketing practices

  • Spot audience behavior, listening patterns, and creator trends to guide rollout planning and creative decisions

  • Proven ability to build creative, innovative and culturally relevant artist development campaigns

  • Data-driven and results-oriented, with the ability to analyse performance and continuously optimise campaign strategy

  • Highly structured and organised, with experience working to processes, timelines and marketing budgets

  • Up-to-date knowledge of market trends, music industry developments and digital marketing innovation

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting campaigns to artists and senior stakeholders

  • Highly motivated, proactive and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-moving environment

  • A collaborative team player with strong creative instincts and a positive, solutions-focused attitude

  • An existing network within digital marketing, technology or platform teams is an advantage (but not essential)
