The Cause is an award winning, fully independent, dance music institution that has spawned several off-spin hospitality venues across London, including pubs, bars, record shops and more.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We seek a talented Media Capture & Editor with experience shooting, editing, and producing video/photo content for promotions and marketing campaigns. As part of the Creative team, you will work closely with the Creative Manager and the Programming team to take lead on creative media concepts and execution/production of promotional material for all sites.

The ideal candidate will have an abundance of creative ideas for promoting a variety of events entertainment plus food and drink offerings. A fresh outlook on unique strategies for promoting the business via video content and will be someone with experience in fast paced short, medium and long form content.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To work closely with the creative team to conceptualise, plan, and execute photo/video shoots, including all phases of production.
  • To capture high-quality content from interviews to conceptual promos using a diverse range of camera equipment, ensuring technical excellence in composition, lighting, and sound.
  • To capture in event footage and operation BTS across all venues.
  • To edit and assemble raw footage into polished photo/video content that aligns with brand guidelines and storytelling objectives.
  • Tailor photo/video content for different platforms and formats, optimising for maximum engagement and impact.
  • To collaborate closely with the marketing and promotions team with overall campaign objectives and brand messaging.
  • Technical expertise: stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in photo/videography, editing software, and equipment, continually refining skills and knowledge


REQUIREMENTS 

  • Have +2 years in a similar role with a proven track record in creating various promotional assets in different design styles.
  • Be highly organised, with experience managing multiple simultaneous projects at once.
  • Proven track record in shooting, editing and producing photo/video content.
  • Able to conceptualise and able to storyboard, develop and produce.
  • Good network, ability to source other shooter, equipment, and locations as and when required.
  • Highly attentive to detail, methodical, reliable, self-guided, shows initiative.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team and collaborate where necessary.
  • Desire and interest to keep up to date with industry/social trends, software updates, best practices etc.
  • Skilled in post-production, including Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects.

EVEN BETTER IF

  • Good knowledge of current design and motion graphic trends is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of graphic design and typography.
  • Good motion graphics skills are an advantage.

SALARY & HOURS

  • You will be expected to work a minimum of 40 hours a week, within a flexible rota between weekdays/weekends.
  • Competitive rate based on experience.

Salary Range

Competitive rate based on experience.
