The Cause is an award winning, fully independent, dance music institution that has spawned several off-spin hospitality venues across London, including pubs, bars, record shops and more.
We are a vital part of London’s nightlife ecosystem, and we pride ourselves in supporting charitable causes and championing underground dance music wherever possible.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We seek a talented Media Capture & Editor with experience shooting, editing, and producing video/photo content for promotions and marketing campaigns. As part of the Creative team, you will work closely with the Creative Manager and the Programming team to take lead on creative media concepts and execution/production of promotional material for all sites.
The ideal candidate will have an abundance of creative ideas for promoting a variety of events entertainment plus food and drink offerings. A fresh outlook on unique strategies for promoting the business via video content and will be someone with experience in fast paced short, medium and long form content.

The Cause is a music and events concept launched in July 2020 operating from several venues, most notably Costa Del Tottenham & The Cause, an award winning, fully independent arts & events organisation that began life as an electronic music nightclub with a heavy focus on underground scenes, community and charitable causes.
Whilst maintaining the ethos of The Cause and providing a platform for electronic artists to continue playing through the pandemic, through ventures such as Costa Del Tottenham, provided a wider portfolio of entertainment, varying from food, comedy, cabaret, live music and DJ events. Furthermore, our open-door policy welcomes everyone equally, regardless of musical tastes, gender, race, class, age, sexual persuasion or kinks.
In its short lifespan The Cause and associated events have raised over £100K for charities, played host to hundreds of promoters, thousands of DJs and been featured on prime-time ITV News, Channel 4, BBC Radio 6, The Guardian, Independent, NME, DJ mag, Mixmag and Time Out.
