Overview: A brand new and one-off opportunity for a Senior Design/Creative professional to join a world-class Festival, Events and Music creative digital agency based in Manchester. The agency partner with UK and International household name festivals and music acts, to create the very best campaigns, branding and social/campaigns. We are looking for a Creative Director who has an impressive track record of strategically developing brands and creative content, delivering cutting-edge creative solutions to drive the business forward. Festival and/or event branding will be fundamental as well as being a strong business influencer and inspirational leader. This role is unique in that although you will manage the creative team, you will still be heavily involved in concepting and developing creative content. The Role: Working from the head office in Manchester central, the role will report to the Managing Director. The ideal candidate will be able super organised and able to deliver on multiple briefs, some of the with quick turnarounds. Role responsibilities include: Conceive and create bold brands and produce amazing creative content primarily for festivals and events . Create and deliver and manage video projects from Pre-Production to Post Production working with external videographers; Deliver assets across print media, social media, video, web design, digital presentations and more; Ensure the proposed solutions suit the client's purpose within the budget and have the agencies goals and mission in mind; Lead multiple creative briefs simultaneously, from initial strategy and concept to completion; Liaise with all other departments to ensure excellent communication lines are established, maintained and are infectiously enthusiastic throughout each project; Ensure that projects are signed off through the correct channels prior to leaving the agency to ensure it meets high creative and consistent standards. Oversee all creative output Ensure strong creative direction and provide ongoing guidance to the design team on all projects under your supervision; Help to maintain and continually pushing design/creative standards within the studio; Work with business development and marketing teams to instigate any business development and PR opportunities.; Be aware of project deadlines and work to ensure creative deliverables are completed as per the brief. Manage the design team You will manage, mentor & inspire the creative team; As the business grows, you will develop a team of creatives underneath you; You will work closely with the studio manager to ensure the creative team are working efficiently. Requirements: Working from the HQ in Manchester, the Head of Design will be highly creative, have a positive, energetic personality and be passionate about design. Minimum 5-6 years’ experience in a Creative Director, Head of Design, Creative Lead or Senior design position, in an agency environment; Experience in design / content creation across video, social media, email, and websites; Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud – Illustrator and InDesign Excellent understanding of UX and Web design Demonstrable understanding of online platforms and how to implement a content strategy for potential customers Collaborative and transparent with a desire to achieve results Proactive and autonomous An excellent communicator Location: Manchester, Central Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 plus extensive benefits including free breakfast Mondays and early finish Fridays!
