We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to join our marketing department. Assist with monitoring and managing all digital marketing accounts Aid in devising and further developing social media strategy; driving and developing content conversations across all English and Spanish social media properties. Monitor all social channels and activities daily. Research new trends and applications of social media to enhance Artist social media channels. Must possess creativity to continually identify innovative opportunities to deepen connections with fans via social media. Online Advertising: Must know how to properly execute ad campaigns for Facebook and Instagram using Facebook's Business Manager. Knowledge of marketing on YouTube using Google Adwords. Social media strategy: Working with the social media coordinator and marketing director to devise the optimal strategy for growing the popularity and the fan bases of our artists. This requires continuous research into new platforms, features and testing hypotheses for optimization. Social media operation: Running the day-to-day social media accountsand platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc. Community management: Finding and partnering with unofficial fan-groups created for our artists. Creating relationships with the moderators and creating workflows and engagement strategies with them. Where no communities are found, they can be created by instituting the right super-fans and moderation policies. Influencer management: Finding, partnering and engaging with social media influencers to maximize our exposure in the Latin Urban market. They can be involved in marketing campaigns, invited to shows, sent new music upon release and given responsibilities within our communities or on the social media accounts. Release marketing: Working with the marketing teams to see how we can improve our release marketing, including blogs, sending releases to social influencers and so forth. Analytics: Compile social analytics recaps and reports to understand how to better cater our content for higher engagement rates and impressions across all platforms. What specific skills are needed for this internship? Completely fluent in both Spanish and English. Proficient knowledge of Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music, and other audio streaming platforms' best practices. Prior experience at a digital content services company or digital services provider preferred. Strong knowledge of the music industry and related social media news, trends, and the competitive landscape. Strong understanding and passion for Latin Urban music. Strong analytic skills. Experience in the music industry: Understanding of copyright, music publishing and digital marketing. Music industry experience in writing or blogging are all bonuses.
