Kitchen Porter

We’re looking for a Kitchen Porter to join the team at The Old Queen’s Head.

The Old Queen’s Head is an award-winning North London pub that moves between great food, proper pints and late nights. We serve one of the area’s most popular Sunday roasts, we’ve recently launched our in-house pizza concept Hot Saint, and our club room hosts DJs and late-night parties throughout the week.

It’s a pub with a lot going on. A busy kitchen, high standards, and a team that takes real pride in what they do. We’re looking for someone reliable, hardworking and switched on who wants to be part of a fast-paced kitchen and play a key role behind the scenes.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly throughout service
• Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment efficiently
• Supporting chefs with basic prep tasks when needed
• Managing waste, deliveries and stock movement in the kitchen
• Making sure hygiene and food safety standards are consistently met
• Working closely with the kitchen team during busy services

What We’re Looking For

• Someone reliable, hardworking and consistent
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• A strong team player with a positive attitude
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
• Willingness to learn and support the wider kitchen team
• An interest in food and hospitality

• Competitive pay at £12.71 per hour. Hourly wages paid every two weeks on a Friday
