The Role:

Roc Nation is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the company’s end-to-end accounts payable operations and corporate card program. This role is ideal for a detail-driven leader who genuinely cares about things being in the right place, thrives in complex environments, and enjoys building order within fast-moving creative businesses.

The Accounts Payable Manager will own AP operations, strengthen processes and controls, manage vendor relationships, and ensure accurate, timely payments across multiple business lines. This position is exposed to all parts of the company and plays a key role in maintaining clean books, efficient workflows, and scalable systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of accounts payable operations, including invoice intake, coding, approvals, and payment processing

  • Manage the corporate card program, including card issuance, policy enforcement, expense review, and employee support

  • Ensure proper coding and allocation of expenses across departments, artists, projects, and business units

  • Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with company policies and accounting standards

  • Lead month-end close activities related to AP, accruals, prepaid expenses, and reconciliations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, resolving discrepancies and payment issues with professionalism and urgency

  • Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to increase accuracy, speed, and transparency

  • Partner with Accounting and FP&A to support P&L accuracy and cost visibility

  • Maintain organized documentation and audit-ready support at all times

  • Train, mentor, and oversee AP staff or contractors as applicable

  • Support system enhancements and integrations across ERP, expense, and payment platforms

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of accounts payable or accounting operations experience

  • Prior experience managing corporate card and employee expense programs

  • Strong understanding of AP controls, workflows, and best practices

  • Experience working within an ERP environment (Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, or similar preferred)

  • High proficiency with expense management systems, such as, Concur or similar tools, preferably Ramp or Divvy

  • Prior experience in entertainment, media, music, or sports preferred but not required

  • Management or lead experience overseeing AP staff is a plus

The expected compensation for this position is:

$96,000.00 USD - $120,000.00 USD

** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
