Gallery is a record label, management and events company that specialises in electronic music of all kinds. A champion of Australian dance music we have successfully launched the recording careers of artists Pretty Girl, Sam Alfred, STUM, Soul Wun, Human Movement, Ak Sports & more amassing over 50 Million streams. We have hosted events across Australia selling over 15000 tickets nationally. Having launched in Sydney in 2020 the label is now based in Melbourne out of Collingwood Yards.
This is a unique role blending two of the most creative aspects of the business, label A&R and events. The successful applicant will work with a range of new and established artists across all aspects of a release, from the music, artwork, remixes and content, from the initial reach out phase through to the eventual roll out of a release. You will also oversee event curation and management for our events arm, working closely with a range of agencies, venues and production teams to grow and expand our events arm.
This is a part time role of 3 days a week, based out of Melbourne, Australia.
Responsibilities
A&R & Artist Development
Artist Scouting: Actively scout emerging talent and provide strategic recommendations for label signings.
Remix Management: Commission and manage the remix pipeline, identifying the right producers to reinterpret our catalog.
Asset & Release Management: Oversee the delivery of artist assets (press shots, bios, masters) and coordinate with the team on release timelines.
Content Strategy: Lead the creation and rollout of digital content that supports the A&R vision and keeps our artists at the forefront of the cultural conversation.
Events, Brand & Experiences
Programming: Curate and book lineups for our event series, strategically blending signed roster artists with external international and local artists.
Large-Scale Logistics: Lead the end-to-end production of our larger capacity flagship events, including venue liaison, risk management, and vendor coordination.
Activations & Pop-Ups: Project manage "high-touch" brand moments, including retail pop-ups and artist-led activations.
Live Content Rollout: Oversee the capture of live audio/visual content to be used for label marketing and artist promotion.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 3 years in Event Management, Touring, or Label Operations.
Network: A strong existing network of artists, booking agents, managers, and creative suppliers.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools and a solid understanding of the music release cycle.
Passion: A genuine desire to help artists grow and to build world-class live experiences.
