The company was founded by Pasquale Rotella and has been based in Los Angeles since it was formed in 1993.

THE ROLE
Insomniac is looking for an E-commerce Merchandising Manager to drive the growth, presentation, and performance of Insomniac’s online store. This hybrid role combines hands-on merchandising with strategic Ecommerce management, ensuring our digital storefront not only reflects the DNA of our brands but also delivers seamless shopping experiences that maximize engagement and revenue. Partnering closely with cross-functional teams—including Creative, Marketing, and Operations—this role will oversee product launches, site merchandising, content strategy, and analytics to elevate our online presence and fuel our community’s connection with the brand. This position will report to the Head of Fashion & Apparel. This is not a remote position.
    
RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Own day-to-day site merchandising: homepage, product categorization, navigation, and promotional storytelling
  • Partner with Design, Production, and Planning teams to ensure accurate and timely product launches.
  • Oversee Ecommerce calendar, aligning product drops and campaigns with marketing and festival timelines
  • Develop strategies to optimize site performance, conversion, and average order value through data-driven decision
  • Monitor inventory levels and recommend actions to maximize sell-through
  • Collaborate with Creative on product photography, PDP copy, and digital assets to ensure consistent brand expression
  • Analyze site metrics (traffic, conversion, bounce, cart abandonment) and translate insights into actionable improvements
  • Manage promotional cadence, pricing strategies, and discount programs in alignment with business goals.
  • Support customer experience initiatives by partnering with Ops/CS teams to address feedback and pain points
  • Assist in long-term Ecommerce roadmap development, providing input on platform functionality and enhancements
  • Train and provide support in onboarding team members, clients, vendors and partners when needed
  • All other projects and initiatives as identified

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years experience in Ecommerce merchandising or management (fashion, streetwear, or lifestyle brands a plus)
  • Strong understanding of online merchandising best practices, UX, and digital customer journeys
  • Proficient in Shopify (or similar Ecommerce platforms) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify reports, etc.)
  • Comfortable with data-driven decision making and presenting insights to leadership
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing Ecommerce calendars
  • Strong visual eye with an understanding of branding, product storytelling, and digital presentation
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for music, culture, and the Insomniac community is a must

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Must be willing to travel to work during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines 
  • Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and drastic temperature climates while working on site at various event location 
  • Must be able to work in open concept office space

Hiring Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000 USD
