WOMAD Festival (World of Music, Arts and Dance) is an internationally recognised festival and cultural organisation founded in 1982, dedicated to bringing together artists and audiences from across the world through music, art and shared experience.

With over four decades of activity and hundreds of events staged globally, WOMAD has built a reputation for programming that spans continents, genres and traditions, presenting both internationally renowned artists and emerging voices in a context that encourages discovery, collaboration and exchange.

Beyond the stage, WOMAD is known for its wider cultural programme, including workshops, talks, food experiences and family activities, creating a temporary community where audiences can engage directly with artists and cultures from around the world.
