Popgang Records is a boutique record label, event production and street wear brand. Founded in 2013, the label is known for breaking new artists with diverse backgrounds and pushing the boundaries of underground dance music through a punk DIY mentality turned modern.
Artists like HoneyLuv, Mary Droppinz, Lubelski, Wenzday, Lenny Kiser, Manics, Dack Janiels and many more released their first music with Popgang.
Popgang also produces the house & techno party "Cyber Rodeo" that focuses on underground talent and draws an inclusive crowd of dance music fans. Past line ups have included VNSSA, Life on Planets, HoneyLuv, Mary Droppinz, Ciszak and 100+ other artists that reads as a who's who of the next generation of house and techno. The party has also collaborated with events like CRSSD, Space Yacht, Catch & Release and more.
Popgang's merch brand is a blend of artist focused and design focused pieces. At the end of 2021 the label dropped a collection of t-shirts featuring album art from that year's releases. The are also numerous micro-brands like "Kiss The Homies" "Cyber Rodeo" "Slaytona 500" "Psychedelic Research Club" while also producing white label products for dozens of establishing artists.
Lastly, Popgang LLC acts a media production house, offering services like video editing, motion graphics, graphic design, live stream production, audio production, studio rentals, private event production and more. Past and current clients include 2+2 Mgmt, Dim Mak, Monstercat, Poolside, CRSSD, Beatport, Space Yacht, Mixmag and countless others.
