The Role We are currently seeking expressions of interest to fill a Retail Supervisor role for a full-time, fixed term contract position. You will be working from Westfield Stratford, and Westfield London, as well as other locations across London.  We want to make sure that people love interacting with Nura as much as they love the Nuraphone! We are looking for a passionate and talented retail supervisor to help deliver amazing customer experiences and lead a team of passionate brand ambassadors.  We believe in addressing the customer's needs holistically. Candidates should enjoy helping people use technology and be able to think through both a sales and support lens. Most importantly they must demonstrate raw talent, diversity and a love of music – these are our DNA at Nura! Prior experience in retail leadership and/or customer service is beneficial, with preference to those with a good understanding of music and technology. Responsibilities Undertake recruitment, training and coaching of direct reports. Manage a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing occupational health and safety standards. Develop and maintain staff schedules and availability. Identify opportunities for improvement and work with other Nura team members to ideate, plan and execute them. Accountable for the execution of SoundStudio procedures e.g. open, close, stock management. Communicate with Nura customers and members of the public directly - being friendly, helpful and demonstrating a problem solving mentality. KPI performance reporting and other administrative duties. Experience in achieving sales targets in a fast-paced environment by demonstrating exceptional customer service, product knowledge and selling skills. Communicate with Nura customers in person - being friendly, helpful and demonstrating the product through a sales lens Resolving customer queries using Nura’s systems communication and knowledge management systems Understanding and applying Nura’s policies, processes, procedures and knowledge base information Providing recommendations for customer relations improvement, based on customer interactions Representing Nura at external events and retailers Requirements Flexibility around hours and locations is essential  Excellent communicator with high attention to detail. Someone who leads from the front. A “doer”, not just a “teller”. Adaptable to a fast paced environment, with an ability to pivot to major business decisions, gain team “buy in” and take team members with you. Ability to work autonomously and/or as part of a remote team. Highly organised. Background in technology and / or able to pick up technical systems and concepts quickly. Ability to take complex concepts and simplify them to a target audience. Driven by the customer experience at front of mind. Must be solution focused, a solid decision maker and calm under pressure. We’re Nura - a young company from Melbourne, Australia that has created the world’s first headphones that automatically tune to your hearing. We are currently looking for sales consultant team members, who will be available to start during the middle of October, to staff our kiosk based in Westfield World Trade Centre. Hours will vary but you will typically work shifts between the hours of 10am and 9pm, Monday to Sunday. Expect to work between 16-40 hours per week. Prior experience in retail and customer service is beneficial, with preference to those with a good understanding of music and technology. We offer a per hour rate + commission. In addition, we offer a staff discount on our products. Responsibilities Communicating with Nura customers and members of the public directly - being friendly, energetic, helpful and demonstrating a problem solving mentality Demonstrate exceptional customer service, product knowledge and selling skills. Resolving customer queries using Nura’s communication and knowledge management systems Understand and apply Nura’s policies, processes and procedures Process customer payments using Shopify point of sales systems Requirements Well spoken communicator with high attention to detail.
