Founded in 2001, Resident Advisor (RA) is one of the world's longest-running music media brands and a cornerstone of the dance, electronic and DJ ecosystem. The site's audience of over 6 million monthly users is drawn in by a combination of news, editorial, club listings and ticketing, RA-branded events at venues and festivals worldwide, original films and a weekly mix series that has run for 18 years.
Purpose of the role:
The City Manager is an integral part of RA’s Global Content Network. The City Manager's primary focus is to support the local electronic music scene in Edinburgh through adding local content (events, artists, labels, promoters) and pitching editorial suggestions. The focus of the role is representing RA in Edinburgh and helping to grow our audience via communicating RA’s offerings to local promoters, clubs and artists as well as acting as a link between RA, the GCN and the local electronic music community in Edinburgh. The City Manager helps users and readers discover the best events and music Edinburgh has to offer.
Key responsibilities:
