Receptionist and Studio Bookings Coordinator

Job Description

Strongroom is looking to recruit a friendly face to join our team in an administrative position. You’d be the first point of contact for clients and guests, splitting your time between an attentive front of house role and assisting our Bookings Manager in filling the studio diary. 
 

Who we are looking for: 

Monday - Friday (40hrs per-week)

  • A proactive hard-worker who can self-manage and collaborate well in a team. 

  • Efficient and organised, can-do attitude, someone who can juggle and prioritise multiple task with strong attention to detail across the board. 

  • Good level of computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office 365 

  • A strong communicator, excellent email composer,  good phone manner, affable and helpful  

  • Professional and discreet at all times, understanding the need to protect the privacy of our clients.  

  • An interest in the business and administrative side of the music industry. This role is not a route into studio engineering or production. 

 

What they’ll do: 

  • Working from the front desk and acting as the first point of contact for clients, visitors and couriers. Greeting, assisting and directing people to where they need to be in a warm and welcoming manner. 

  • Handling telephone enquiries and directing calls in a professional and friendly manner. 

  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post/couriers for Strongroom and our residents. 

  • Assisting the Bookings Manager and Studio Manager in taking and organising studio bookings, working to maintain a good supply of new and repeat bookings. Please note that this may mean working outside of office hours from time to time, visiting clients, attending events etc. 

  • Ensuring accurate records are kept for the studio usage and expenses. Creating billing invoices accordingly. 

  • Working with the studio team to ensure sessions run smoothly and clients are looked after. 

  • Liaising with Studio Runners to make sure that office and studio stock is up to date.

Salary Range

£30,000 per-annum
