Sollos is Universal Music's leading audio-wellness venture. We combine music and audio from the world’s best artists with cutting edge research into cognitive science and psychoacoustics, to create music and soundscapes which have been specifically engineered to help people focus, relax and sleep.
We curate tracks from Universal Music’s world-class roster of artists, using a rigorous science-backed criteria to assess the audio’s suitability to support better focus, relaxation and sleep. Our in-house audio engineers then use a proprietary algorithm to add special sound waves: auditory beats or coloured noise. Scientific research has shown that these sound waves can help improve mood and enhance cognition. We call these additives ‘sound supplements’ — you may not even notice them, but they’re there to infuse our music with extra goodness.
