The Global Communications department represents Concord’s brand and mission through consistent messaging and strategy. It oversees the development of brand collateral and facilitates all internal and external communications as well as the philanthropic initiatives and events planned by the Company. In executing these responsibilities, we are responsible for the company’s brand within the industry, to its stakeholder and to its staff, artists, songwriters, composers, and playwrights.

 

Our paid internship program will give you a unique opportunity to enhance your professional skillset, increase your knowledge of the industry, and expand your network. Our goal is to help you develop your talents as well as receive dedicated mentorship and support. Our summer Internship Program will run from Tuesday, June 3rd – Friday, August 15th and allows interns to work up to a maximum of 20 hours per week. This internship is a paid in-person opportunity and requires the ability to work in the specified office location. 

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

Press and Media 

  • Edit press releases, assist with research and build press lists

Branded Documents

  • Create corporate branding documents
  • Create presentations and other documents for executives as needed

Internal Communications

  •  Assist with weekly newsletter and other internal communications, research best practices

Events and Philanthropy

  • Assist with event planning and philanthropy projects, research, and organization

Gather Assets

  • Collect documents and information from different areas of the company or online sources for corporate communications projects
  • Update and maintain company accomplishments

Qualifications

What you'll need:

  • Creative self-starter who can work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytic skillset 
  • Must be an excellent communicator with good writing abilities
  • Passion for the entertainment/music industry and a desire for a career in communications.
  • This internship is a part-time paid internship and requires someone located in/near Nashville. 
  • The timeline of this internship program runs from Tuesday, June 3rd  – Friday, August 15th You must be able to work 20 hours/week.
