Our current portfolio features a variety of events, including Snowboxx, a 5,000-person festival held at a ski resort in the French Alps, boutique summer festivals held at a beachside location in the Albanian Riviera, and events in collaboration with top promoters such as Anjunadeep, LWE and Warehouse Project.

 

Who we are looking for

We are looking for an ambitious individual to join our Marketing team to help us deliver the best event marketing in the field for Snowboxx festival.

To succeed in this role, you must have previous experience in event or music marketing, in-depth knowledge of social media and email marketing, and a keen understanding of the target audience for Snowboxx festival. Since this is a ski festival, you need to be able to ski or snowboard.

Role overview

As the Senior Marketing Coordinator for Snowboxx, social media and email marketing will be the main areas you will be working on.

On the social media front, you will be responsible for creating and sharing content on our social channels, communicating and engaging with our followers as well as briefing and managing external freelancers such as designers, photographers and content creators.

On the email front, you will be responsible for creating email campaigns targeting audiences at different stages of the marketing funnel.

Besides the day to day marketing activities, you will also be responsible for coordinating the delivery of campaign milestones like ticket launches and line up announcements. 

As the main point of contact between the audience and the brand, you will be providing valuable input for the marketing campaigns. As such, you are expected to understand the needs of the target market and the type of messaging that appeals to them most.

Creativity, project management and communication skills are key to this role, as well as the ability to handle different projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

You will report directly to the Marketing Director.

 

Responsibilities

  • Senior Marketing Coordinator

    • Social media

      • Manage the social media channels for Snowboxx including Instagram and TikTok, understanding the idiosyncrasies of each platform and algorithm

      • Produce compelling copy for different mediums and platforms, ensuring the tone of voice and brand personality is maintained and the copy is optimised for each medium.

      • Create, edit and source engaging content for our channels

      • Source and manage external creators and freelancers on producing social and marketing content before and during the event

      • Stay up to date with social media and content trends and provide continuous feedback and ideas to improve our social media presence

      • Build and maintain the brand’s relationship with its audience, finding ways to engage, connect and provide value to our followers.

      • Monitor DMs and work closely with customer relations team

    • Email marketing

      • Use Mailchimp to produce compelling email campaigns for different audiences at different stages of the marketing funnel

      • Manage and oversee email automations and lead nurturing campaigns

      • Assist the other departments to send operational emails and SMS campaigns

    • Digital marketing

      • Work with other departments to coordinate announcements, tickets launches and other campaign milestones

      • Work with brand and media partners to coordinate announcements and delivery of partnership items

      • Maintain website up to date

      • Analytics and customer insights

      • Weekly campaign reports

    • Brand management

      • Share brand feedback and audience insights with other departments to ensure the customer experience at the event is aligned with the brand identity and its online presence

      • Work with internal teams to ensure messaging and tone of voice is consistent across all channels and methods of communication

      • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities

    • At event

      • Manage social media channels during the event

      • Brief and manage content creators, photographers and videographers


Personal

  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills

  • Ability to use data to inform and optimise creative decisions

  • Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing, social media, content and design 

  • Great team player, able to take full ownership of the role and collaborate with the rest of the marketing team, as well as other teams in the company and external stakeholders

  • Accountable for the output of your work, dependable and trustworthy. Able to deliver as promised, on-time, and within budget consistently

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of digital marketing experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field desirable

  • Keen understanding of the target audience of this festival and the skiing world

  • Project and campaign management experience 

  • Hands on experience in content creation management is desirable

  • Skier / boarder 

  • Able to travel internationally
