Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our engineering team. This role will focus on building  a Music Curation Desktop application.

What You Will Work On at Djoid

• Dependency management and packaging for Desktop Apps (Electron, Python, C++)

• Integration of Djoid with Major DJ platforms (such as Rekordbox, Traktor, Serato, Beatport, etc.)

• Build and Integrate AI Models to support our intelligent curation tools inside Djoid

Key Responsibilities

• Python and C++ Development

• Dependency Management

• Database Management

• Cross-Platform Development

• Audio Processing: Leverage C++ and Python skills to work with audio libraries

• Cloud Development

• CI/CD

• Collaboration and Communication with Product, Marketing, & Tech

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in software engineering, with a strong focus on cross-platform application development (Mac/Windows) and database management.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in C++, Python, and Electron.

  • Experience with dependency management for complex desktop applications.

  • Expertise with database management

  • Experience with audio libraries (Juce is a huge plus).

  • Strong CI/CD experience, particularly with GitHub builds and actions

  • Cloud experience (AWS is a plus)

Nice to Have:

• Experience in the audio tech/music industry.

• Familiarity with other audio-processing tools and libraries.

• AWS experience.
