Job Description

Joining a growing internal recruitment team in Kobalt Music’s global People & Culture department, the Recruitment Operations Specialist will oversee the management of recruitment platforms, their performance and implementations. You will be the champion how we do things by leveraging data to suggest improvements on our current processes as well as support our tech, music and shared services on all day to day recruitment tasks, from interview scheduling to events support.

To be successful in the role, you thrive in the fast-paced momentum of recruitment, but are passionate about the operations side and driven by data and analytics, technology and music of course!

Ideally you have a background in streamlining recruitment operations in a fast-growing & dynamic organisation, but most important is that you can apply deep logic to your thinking, back everything up with data with strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal stakeholders and candidates alike.

BACKGROUND

Founded in 2000 by Willard Ahdritz, Kobalt is creating the music company of the future. Kobalt is a global music and technology company built for artists, songwriters, publishers and labels as an alternative to the traditional music business model. Kobalt have built the technology infrastructure to enable better reporting and for artists to maintain ownership and control over how their work is distributed, tracked, collected, and monetized.  This global technology platform is able to track and collect royalties for the billions of micro-payments per song in digital music today.

Kobalt represents on average over 40% of the top 100 songs and albums in both the US and UK.

WHAT DOES A RECRUITMENT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST AT KOBALT DO?

  • Collates data from various sources to present for trend analysis, assessment of KPIs as well as recruitment budget tracking & management
  • Supports tech, music and shared services on all day to day tasks, ensuring a 1st class candidate experience throughout the full recruitment journey 
  • Manages ‘Greenhouse’ ATS by running regular audits as well as supports and owns all integrations (including Diversity & Inclusion & BI Tools) ensuring the data required for reporting is correct and kept up to date
  • Support employer branding from asset creation to onsite events
  • Tracks agency usage & spend as well as  details of all the term and conditions
  • Manages raising of POs, tracking of invoices for payment and budget purposes 
  • Maintain records on contractor start and end dates and manages contracts renewals
  • Coordinates Recruitment training
  • Minute recruitment meetings and distribute action points

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?  

  • At least 2 years experience supporting a recruitment function in an operational capacity with a track record of managing your own projects as well as a proven ability to prioritise a busy work-load & meet deadlines
  • Strong system skills and experience including data manipulation in Excel & presenting findings in PowerPoint or other software
  • Expert use of technology including business applications & project management tools
  • Exemplary customer service skills with evidence of going above and beyond to deliver with ability to overcome challenges through good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and a brilliant organiser
  • A great communicator; verbal & written 
  • Resilience and tenacity to work under pressure with a positive and proactive mindset

SPECIFICS

  • Based at River Building, Cannon Street, London EC4R 3TE
  • Hours are 37.5 hours per week. Generally, these are taken between 9.30-6 with 1 hour for lunch but amendments to these hours can be agreed on a case by case basis with line manager approval

ANNUAL LEAVE | Contractually 25 days, however Kobalt closes its offices for the 3 days between Christmas and New Year’s when staff contribute 1 day.
