DIGITAL MARKETING / SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST (full-time)
Location: London

Position Overview:
We are looking for a London based (or prepared to relocate to London for the role), highly experienced, creative and organised Digital Marketing and Social Media Specialist to manage the online presence of a headline, dynamic electronic music artist. This role combines strategy, content creation, scheduling, advertising, and on-the-ground support, including occasional travel on tour. The ideal candidate is passionate and knowledgeable about electronic music, highly experienced in all social media platforms,  and thrives in fast-paced environments. They must be fluent in English with excellent copy writing skills. 

Key Responsibilities


1. Social Media Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy and authentic narrative aligned with the artist’s voice on areas such as his brand, his labels, music releases, live shows, career milestones and every day life. 
- Identify target audiences and tailor content to engage diverse fan demographics across platforms.
- Stay updated on industry trends, platform algorithms, and best practices to ensure optimised content visibility and profile growth.

2. Content Creation and Capture
- Collaborate with the artist, management, and creative teams to ensure all published content aligns with the artist’s voice, aesthetic and core messaging. 
- Plan, produce and edit compelling content, including photos, videos, and text posts.
- Capture live content when required or coordinate and direct videography and photography teams to do so. The same also for studio sessions, behind-the-scenes moments and other interesting situations that help tell the artist’s story in an engaging and authentic fashion.
- Integrate swiftly into our archiving system. Organise and archive all new content to our spec in Dropbox.  

3. Scheduling and Publishing
- Develop and maintain a content calendar for social media posts across Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube.
- Post content in real-time during key events, release campaigns, and live performances.
- Monitor engagement and interact with the community by responding to comments and messages.
- Create and manage an effective and efficient approval process for proposed posts to be approved by artist / management. 

4. Paid Media and Ad Spend Management
- The applicant must be experienced in developing and implementing paid advertising campaigns, dark ads post boosts to help promote music releases, ticket sales, merch sales.
- Monitor ad performance metrics and optimize campaigns to maximize ROI.
- Coordinate with the artist + management team on budget allocation and campaign objectives.

5. Analytics and Reporting
- Track social media analytics to evaluate post, campaign performance and audience growth.
- Generate monthly reports with actionable insights to improve future strategies.
- Set and monitor KPIs for fan engagement, content reach, and follower growth.

6. Touring and Event Support
- Occasionally join the artist on tour to provide real-time creative content and social media posts that give viewers / followers a behind the scenes insight into life on the road.
- Coordinate with tour managers and event teams to access venues and optimise content opportunities.
- Ensure social media aligns with the energy and atmosphere of live performances.

Essential Qualifications
Experience: 3-4 years in social media management within the music industry. 
Skills & attributes

- Proficiency with social media platforms, tools, and scheduling software (HeyOrca, Hootsuite, Later,).
Expertise in photo and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut or similar professional editing platforms).
- Knowledge of paid advertising platforms (e.g., Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Ads).
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Very creative with excellent storytelling skills. 
- A keen eye for design, aesthetics, and attention to detail.
- An ability to adapt and work to the artists’s preferences and tastes. 
- Flexibility to travel and work non-traditional hours as needed.
- A team player with a hunger to succeed. 
- Passion for electronic music and deep understanding of artist branding.
- Experience managing content for artists, influencers, or public figures.
- Experience working with 3rd party platforms such as
- Familiarity with copyright and music licensing in social media contexts.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
