Social Media Manager (Intern)

Part time Social Media

Job Description

Job Title: Social Media Manager (Intern)
Company: Poize Audio
Location: London - Remote/Hybrid (with occasional in-person events)
Start: March 2025
Commitment: Part-Time, 6 Months.

About Us:
We are an ambitious independent record label and events brand based in London, championing original vocalists in the dance music scene - with a distinct affection for DNB, UK Garage and Jungle. Our fundamental mission is to link exceptional vocal talent with world class producers, creating organic, authentic dance music, carving our own way into the worldwide music industry. We have achieved sales and streams across all corners of the globe, as well as label performances in Switzerland, the Netherlands and Hong Kong – whilst working with the likes of Simula, Mozey, Inja, James Hype, A.M.C, Gentlemen’s Club and many more.

We are now looking to welcome 2 new members to the team, to take the brand to the next level and to establish ourselves as a prominent force in the dance music scene. This role is an opportunity to gain hand-on experience in the music industry, make meaningful industry connections on varying levels, and to showcase your creativity on a purposeful platform.

Role Overview:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Social Media Manager to join our team and grow our consistent online presence, with a key emphasis on showcasing our exceptional vocal talent in creative ways. This role will enable you to expand your professional network and work closely with artists to bring campaigns to life, whilst allowing you to let your creativity shine and become an active part of the music industry. This is an opportunity to join an ambitious, well connected brand with a strong USP, and grow with us to become a notable force in the UK dance music scene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy + Application: Develop and implement creative strategies to grow our following and increase the visibility of our vocalists across platforms. This will be in liaison with the label manager, but with creative license to do your thing.

  • Content Creation: Post engaging content primarily on TikTok, and also to Instagram and other platforms, including creative content, music-related trends, label updates etc.

  • Scheduling: Create and carry out a regular post schedule.

  • Camerawork: Capture content and possibly appear on camera when needed. Examples of this may include studio sessions or live events (majority in London), Tiktoks, journalistic pieces, etc.

  • Trend Spotting: Stay ahead of social media algorithms and trends, especially within the music niche, and adapt them to our brand.

  • Community Management: Interact with our online audience to build engagement, responding to comments and fostering a sense of community.

  • Collaborations: Work closely with vocalists, artists, DJs, and industry professionals to highlight their work and promote releases.

  • Miscellaneous: You may be asked for your input on label activities, such as talent scouting, event lineups, brand direction etc, if this takes your interest (not required).

We’re Looking For:

  • Passion for Music: A deep love for DNB, UK Garage and Jungle music is a must.

  • Ambition: Someone looking to grow with the brand to gain valuable experience and break into the music industry. We would also like to hear your long-term vision and career goals, to see how we can help facilitate and work towards those as well as the goals of the brand.

  • Social Media Savvy: Knowledge of social platforms (especially TikTok) and a creative, consistent approach to content creation.

  • Proactivity: Someone who takes initiative, brings fresh ideas to the team, and can work independently and reliably with minimal supervision.

Why Join Us?

  • Hands-On Experience: Showcase your skills running the social media of an established brand.

  • Industry Connections: Network with artists, DJs, and music professionals – team members often pick up paid work elsewhere in the industry through our extensive network.

  • Future Opportunities: While this role is low paid, there’s potential for discussing a stake in the company and joining us long-term after the internship. For transparency, we do not take a wage from the label at this stage either, as we reinvest everything back into the brand. Ultimately, we are looking for someone to grow with us long-term, much further than the 6 month internship period.

  • Creative Freedom: Have your say in shaping the label’s online presence and building our community. We would like to see your personality flourish!

How to Apply:
If this sounds like the opportunity for you, send your CV along with a brief cover letter outlining:

  • Why you’re passionate about joining us specifically, and what you can bring personally.

  • Any relevant experience (including links to your social media or creative work, if available).

  • Anything further you would like to share, or any ideas you would like to bring to the brand.
