£14000 for the first 12 months (then at least NMW after that) (in addition) Night Department will also 100% fund a L3 Multi-Channel Marketing course that runs concurrently (value £11,000)
Hybrid role – 2 days working from home / 3 days London office attendance required.
Role
We are looking for an ambitious, driven and dedicated Social Media Assistant to join our team and help support the Artist Managers with the day-to-day tasks and
administration.
You must be extremely passionate about the electronic dance music industry and culture, used to juggling multiple tasks, collaborative in attitude and comfortable working in a fast-paced commercial environment.
Key Artists: Eli Brown, Ben Hemsley, Sara Landry, Disfreq, KOKOKO!, Maur, Kidnap and AK Sports
£14,000 salary for the first 12 months then at least NMW thereafter. Night Department will pay for the Multi-Channel Marketing course/accreditation (delivered by BCE) that occurs across the duration of the apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
● Assisting with record release planning and campaigns.
● Manage day to day relationships with an assigned roster of distributed independent labels
● Collaborate with labels, artists and the internal and external teams to help create and execute
social media release development plans and strategies.
● Responsible for verifying audio, video, metadata and artwork in accordance with content
guidelines and style guide conventions
● Create, edit, and manage content across diverse marketing channels (websites, emails, social
media, etc.) in line with brand guidelines, collaborating with colleagues for effective delivery.
● Track marketing spending within a budget and company protocols.
● Providing social media content, posting and interaction through a range of platforms.
● Content creation for Social Media (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook)
● running & planning digital campaigns for music releases and artists
● Strategize PR & Marketing and Social Media and communication with publicists and Social
Media Managers
● Schedule releases and releases announcements
● Managing/monitoring a marketing campaign
● Coordination and implementation of social media
● Maintaining full up-to-date press kit, PR materials and updating the social media channels
● Liaising with press to ensure campaigns are delivered on time
● Reporting directly to artist managers and artists and collaborating with the label manager, you
will be responsible for running digital campaigns for all new frontline releases.
● Manage key social media channels and sub-labels while overseeing social strategies for the
management roster.
● Scheduling and publishing posts on all platforms, (Instagram, Facebook,TikTok, Twitter,
Youtube etc)
Administration:
● Proactively update and check information on all key Artist Management documents.
● Support Artist Managers with diary and meeting management when necessary.
● Keep the relevant Google Drive and Dropbox folders tidy at all times.
● Helping to create social media plans
● Day-to-day general office admin duties
● Providing PA support to artist managers, including general office administration.
