Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Lead Product Manager - Platform Services (f/m/x) who will lead a team of product owners to deliver platform services to our internal teams as well as our customers and partners. Contributing to the overall product portfolio strategy as well as coming up with strategies and business cases for platform services is essential for this role. In this position you will report directly to the Director of Digital Services.

You're skilled at inspiring and motivating team members, peers and colleagues, and you want to actively drive and contribute to the future of the music industry.

In this position you will be managing people, developing talent, and working effectively cross-functionally (eg. Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, etc.). You will need the knowledge and confidence to work with the product, engineering and marketing leadership team, and be a great partner to your peers in Product Creation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive the definition, development and adoption of a relevant portfolio of central services
  • Create business cases based on market analysis and feedback from design and development teams. Drive the creation of a product vision for each product. Set measurable targets for product owners and development teams. 
  • Manage a roadmap of several products and projects. Monitor the success of products throughout the lifecycle and act accordingly.
  • Work closely with Product Directors, Product Owners and the Customer Insights team. Interface with Sales and Marketing teams, Hardware Development, Supply Chain Management, Finance, and Tech Support.
  • Lead Product Owners and development teams to create successful products for our customers

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience as a digital products leader and a clear track record of successfully developing and managing a portfolio of platform services, as well as leading successful teams.
  • You have strong communication skills and can talk to various audiences, including executives, product owners and development teams. 
  • You have excellent knowledge of product management methodologies and best practices, and a constant interest in learning more.
  • Solid understanding of a product ecosystem (hardware, software and digital), as well as agile team setups and dynamics
  • You like to take decisions based on data and insights, but also know when to follow your intuition
  • Strong desire to bring products to the market that make a difference and disrupt the industry
  • Knowledge of subscription businesses is preferred.
  • Not afraid to constantly challenge the status quo and obsess about problems solving.
  • Excellent English is a must, German is a plus
  • You have a connection to music - be it hands-on or a genuine inspiration in your life.
  • Professional and/or personal experience in the music industry is a plus
