As the Coordinator, Sync Licensing, you will provide support to the SVP, Sync Licensing, VP, Commercial Licensing, and Commercial Licensing department.
What you'll do:
- Enter all requests for sync team and obtain missing information from clients as needed
- Seek approvals for the areas of: some TV shows (i.e. MFN shows like American Idol, Ellen, etc.), non-profit, film festivals, new media, docs and smaller films
- Conduct and log BA research in GOLD & BA digital archives for team
- Track and follow-up on quotes and pending requests
- Create & send internal communications as needed
- Create & send various marketing tools (show invites, new music release blasts) for external clients
- Create and maintain footage archive of film/trailer/TV placements
- Various administrative tasks – manage license database, audio management, reporting
- Assist with setting up showcases as needed
Who you are:
- 1-2 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Solid understanding of music licensing is preferred
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, communication, and time management skills as well as the ability to prioritize, multitask, and focus while working under stressful and demanding situations
- Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude while working with multiple departments and outsides contacts
- The use of discretion and the maintenance of high levels of confidentiality are absolutely required.
- Ability to make sound decisions and solve a variety of problems
- Strong knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, Photoshop, Internet and typical office equipment
