The role
The content and community marketing manager will help to be the voice for Audiomovers across all marketing channels including web, email, social, community (forums, Discord), press and industry-specific channels. They will actively participate in community management and engage with the pro audio community on behalf of Audiomovers.
The right candidate has a hands-on background in marketing in the pro audio industry (hardware or software), understands the audio landscape, can speak articulately on it, and has successfully marketed other audio brands in the past. They should love audio gear, and as a content creator have a portfolio of creative work, showing audio products at the center of the work.
You are a confident community manager. You have created and managed forums and Discord groups, you know how to engage audiences, and you evangelise audio brands with ease.
You have an attention to detail as well as a flair for language and find it easy to adopt brand language and tone of voice, you are excellent at communicating technology-based solutions.
You love creating beautiful and engaging content and you clearly differentiate your content to target different audiences across different channels to most effectively spread the word about Audiomovers.
You are a confident and organized campaign manager and marketing calendar owner, who excels in planning, executing, and optimising 360° campaigns.
Audiomovers is a lean autonomous team within a larger organisation and iterates on a rapid development cycle, so we are looking for individuals who can work at speed and efficiently manage their workflow. The ideal candidate is a hardworking and creative thinker used to being hands-on and wanting to learn and grow with the company.
The right candidate will be an expert with demonstrable experience in similar businesses and ambition to create outstanding and recognisable content.
Key Responsibilities
Creation of content:
Product launch assets including product messaging, press releases, product videos, photography, diagrams, and illustrations
Writing original, clear, and credible pieces of content: articles, blogs, press releases, case studies and scripts as well as tagline and social media posts and comments
Designing and producing variety of compelling visual and video assets (art working skills are necessary) including adverts, content pieces and pitch decks
Communicating with partners, influencers, and artists; managing artist relationships, managing online communities
Marketing campaign planning, building, execution, and reporting
Responsible for managing comms calendar
Reporting on social growth, press, and share of voice
Managing creative agencies, PR and freelancers
Skills and experience
Essential:
Pro audio native: the successful candidate knows and understands the audio industry (minimum 3 years in relevant role in the pro audio industry)
Exceptional copywriting including short and long form, research, storytelling, messaging as well as technical and SEO writing
Community management experience, e.g., Discord, Reddit, Pro Audio Forums
Confident designer of visual assets, fluent user of design platforms: Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud
Video editing skills, video content management and optimisation. Familiarity with video platform algorithms and what it takes to share and promote content successfully
Proven ability to plan and manage marketing campaigns and analyse their performance to make improvements
Demonstrable experience in owning social growth and community engagement
Maintaining brand language and brand expression across all the creative outputs and elevating language to better resonate with Audiomovers’ audience
Porfolio showcasing copy, and visual work will be required as a part of application process
Desirable:
Experience in capturing, creating and editing high quality video assets
Experience designing advertising assets
A keen eye for design, with direct design experience a bonus
Up-to-date experience with SEO tactics in tech SEO
Proven experience building a content platform online, whether social or on YouTube
