We are seeking a full time Junior Agent to join our remote team at Alegria Agency! This role involves overseeing booking strategies that align with the career objectives of our artists including negotiating offers, strategizing touring movements, and discussing goals with the artists. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the music and live event industry, with proven success in negotiating and managing bookings on an international level.
Responsibilities:
- Secure and negotiate one-off show and tour offers for artists on the agency's roster, ensuring alignment with financial, logistical, and personal goals.
- Develop comprehensive booking and touring strategies tailored to each artist’s career trajectory, identifying opportunities for expansion.
- Evaluate individual offers and provide insights on how they fit within overall touring goals, offering recommendations on next steps.
- Research new markets, venues, and buyers to expand the agency’s presence and build partnerships for upcoming projects.
- Maintain strong relationships with promoters worldwide through consistent communication (emails, calls, meetings).
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 2-4 years experience with artist bookings or a related field within the entertainment industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing successful bookings and tour offers.
- Must be able to speak confidently with the clients and be knowledgeable about any questions they may have.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with promoters, venues, and key industry contacts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with global markets and a broad understanding of the music and live event industry.
- Experience working remotely and managing schedules across different time zones.
- Must maintain a professional demeanor during both office hours and client shows.
